does anyone know how to tell if a plant is autoflower or not?
Are you sure its flowering. Or is it just preflowering...a plant will put a few hairs on at the nodes even if its still vegging once it becomes sexually mature.ok thats all i needed to know. defidently confirms my plant is autoflowering. i have a clone in pot and it is already flowering, its only been 4 weeks. should i take clippings now for more clones then?
Its a clone from an adult outdoor plant. It is not an auto. And you will see preflowers under 18/6 once the plant is sexually mature. If you haven't changed your light to 12/12 yet then its auto... if you keep it outside it could be pre-flowers and not auto because sunlight is 13 or 14 hrs a day most places. But you dont see pre-flowers when its that small and on 18/6 of light.
If the plant it was taken from a plant that had begun to flower the it may take it a little time to get vegging good. And if its 4weeks from being cloned, not rooted, then your right on track.so then the probability is auto. even on my 18/6 cycle, i feel that after 4 weeks i should have a better growth. anything i can do to help this?
You just answered your own question.this was his 3rd gen of cloning. that makes me question auto? he also keeps his in a window sill for 2 months so it gets a nice stretch, then he plants outside. the still go atleast another month or so with no flowering visible. would that be possible if they were autos. also would he be able to go three gens with autos?
