It will become root bound and not grow as fast as it should,but that depends on how big the container you have right now.

It'll eventually become greatly stunted and die. But it has to be extremely root bound for this to occur.

You'l just have to keep a close eye on watering because the plant will suck up a lot of water, might have to water everyday, Shouldn't have to worry about root rot if you don't keep it too wet.

You can grow a four foot plant that looks decent in a 2 litre soda pop bottle.

you can do it, just need extra care and a watchful eye. Sorry I can't find any examples to post right now.
