Plant Spacing and yeild?

i have been greenhouse growing for 8 years now and a constant point of contention between my investors and i is plant spacing and yeild. i am of the opinion that less plants with more space is not only easier to work with and less prone to pests but also yeilds more. they insist that many, double what i plant, is the way to go for yeild. we have planted both ways and they insist im doing something wrong when we only yeild 2 to 3 oz a plant when they are packed in. when we ,years ago now, gave eache plant some room and had less plants i almost doubled the yields we have been getting since. i am planning on spacing my girls 1.5ft x 1.5ft aiming for 6 to 8 oz each, thoughts?

18" x 18" is nowhere near big enough for outdoors. I like to give em 5'x5' per plant..and i put clones outside 2nd week of may.

well its been in the 90s so they are in a greenhouse with supplemental lighting and heating over night. i also agree that outside needs, imo, 6x6 however i would never get away with that. i guess my question boiled down, is a 1/2 pound feasible with 2 1/4 square foot?

My first couple yrs of growing in a 20x30 green house i ran 12, The last 2 yrs i have ran 6 same yield with a lot less problems.

my first year i ran 3 100x20 greenhouses. we packed 400 in each. last year we did 800 in each. i have two partners/investors so i get outvoted on this issue with 800 we yield about half what i yielded with 400. i never really have a bug issue due to vigilant spray schedule.
