i have been greenhouse growing for 8 years now and a constant point of contention between my investors and i is plant spacing and yeild. i am of the opinion that less plants with more space is not only easier to work with and less prone to pests but also yeilds more. they insist that many, double what i plant, is the way to go for yeild. we have planted both ways and they insist im doing something wrong when we only yeild 2 to 3 oz a plant when they are packed in. when we ,years ago now, gave eache plant some room and had less plants i almost doubled the yields we have been getting since. i am planning on spacing my girls 1.5ft x 1.5ft aiming for 6 to 8 oz each, thoughts?
