Hi,

What would be the ideal size for a plant to be before putting it in the flowering room?

I do not keep date record and with different environments, plants grow at different speeds, so im asking. :-)

How many centimetres tall? and how many inter-branches, and how long should the inter-branches be?

(Growing under 400W MH & HPS)

well as far as height im not too sure i know as long as your plant is healthy looking you can flower as early as u want.. with this though the earlier you flower b4 they are ready the less yield. ive heard anywhere from 4-8 weeks is good or after the 4th node. i started mine at week 6 they were allready a foot tall if not more and had 5-6 nodes.. it also depends on the size your growing in for a plant usually doubles to triples in size during flowering... so alot of people flower according to thier grow space. hope this helps a lil.. if not look around the forums you will find it. gl with ur grow:blsmoke:

I flowered at about 1.5 foot - they're 3 foot or so now and JUST right for my growing space luckily...so flower when they're about half the height you can allow and they'll grow!

A lot depends on the strain in which you are flowering. For example an indica plant will not stretch out as much when you put it into flower compared to a sativa strain. Hard to tell you when to flower without some pics or knowing what strain it is.

5 foot grow area, but then plants well be 2 cm from bulb, maximum yield!!! minimum time!
It doesn't work that way. 2 cm away will burn your plants even with cfls. 2" is ideal with cfls imo and I'm proud to say I've done a few VERY nice cfl grows.

Time is not reduced by light distance...yield is.

If you want you can do 12/12 from seed. It just depends what your looking for. If your cloning you can do 12/12 as soon as they root, it will effect yeild.
Longer veg = Larger yield. But you can pull a 1/2 oz of a 12/12 from seed plant easy (from what i've read) I just started a 12/12 from seed grow so we will see how I do.....
You can flower whenever you want though...
