Plant showing issues ???

Hello Everyone – Hoping for some help – 1st grow in a long long time. I got these seeds from my girlfriend’s dad who likes to pollenate his own seeds. He crossed a Blue Dream with a Blue Mystic. I am currently in week 7 of flower (counting from when she showed female pistils all over her “special” sites). Getting a lot of Orange Hairs but trichomes are still clear. Dirt Tent grow with a 400 hps. FoxFarm nutes using the soil feeding schedule at half strength with a little cal-mag. Been giving about 3/4 of a gallon each watering every 3 to 4 days Two weeks ago I gave her a flush with sledgehammer following the schedule (not sure I will use the sledgehammer again???). Feed her nutes twice now since then with a plain water feeding in between. Always pH everything that goes in to 6.5… Last plain watering I checked the runoff and PH was 6.0 and she was hungry recalling the ppm was around 300. I feed her a nute mix that was 1180 ppm after pHing to 6.6... But just giving her the nutes wasn’t enough it looks like the issue or issues is still continuing. I have 6 of these plants and two of them are showing these signs (two in the middle of the tent) other four are still nice and green with no leaf issues. Figure I got at least three more weeks to limp these girls along.

thought what I had going on is a potassium deficiency??? Maybe??? But after this feeding maybe I’m burning them.
Should I do a Flush on these two and then give them their nutrient mix?

Which flushing is another issue because these girls are in 6-gallon pots. So, a true flush would be like 15 to 18 gallons. – Not doing that. I use Distilled bottled water. Also due to the time of potting, I couldn’t get my hands on the greatest soil due to the pandemic and places be closed. The only soil I could find in my area that wasn’t preloaded with miracle grow and had a PH balance was Jiffy’s Seed Starting Mix. Which I mixed 3to1 with perlite. Haven’t had any real soil issue and it drains pretty good, granted not the greatest thing to use.

Any hints would be great – been a long time since I’ve grown anything indoors. Just don’t wanna do a half-assed flush this close to the end to have it not help. I’m Not one to really flush at the end – think it’s a waste of time and does not really do anything in the overall end product. Does mother nature flush your corn before the farmer harvests it – I don’t think so. Granted some ears of corn taste better than others – just like weed.

They dont look too bad. Just coming of age maybe. If there is an issue it probably couldn’t be corrected before their time comes. I like you thoughts about flushing I’ll definitely be quoting your corn line in the next ‘flush fanatic’ troll session I find myself in

Don't flush them. Flushing is for toilets not soil.
The leaves that are fading are old and just being used like a fuel cell by the plant. They will make it just fine.
Since you are using Fox Farms stuff, I would imagine you are using tiger bloom. I would ditch the tiger and just run with just the big bloom instead, with a little extra magnesium. But that's just me. I've had better results without the tb.

Thank you Darkoh69 & Jimmi P... just thought by looking at the trichomes it would be too early to start eating herself. yeah I only flush if there are issues but really don't wanna flush this close. JimmiP I did use the Tiger Bloom.

Yeah, as to the tiger bloom. I quit using that stuff (and just upped the big bloom) a long time ago. When I gave up the tb I was much happier with the results. The Big bloom is mild, organic and can be used every watering if you like. It doesn't in my experience ever cause any issues and my plants end up really, really happy.
I also rely on a large amount of soil, which I understand you did have problems sourcing this year. The smallest pot I will flower in, is a 10 gallon fabric pot. Then if I see its burning through that too fast, I can set the whole thing into an 18-20 container of fresh soil. The roots just grow right through the sides and bottom.

Yeah, I'm a firm believer in big pots... I used to do hydro using flood and drain set up in those black restaurant bus tubs. Those root balls in the bus tub would be huge, stretched out some of them would be like 4 feet long. Now that things in my area are back open I'll be able to pick up some decent soil the next round. Certainly not getting a big yield on these girls. I've thought about using Air pot or Fabric - just worried I would be stuck with them burning thru and not having a bigger pot or room in the tent for larger.

how much more of the big bloom you adding? the same amount the tiger would add up to???
are you using cal-mag to?

I see now really looking at the labels there pretty close with the TB having a few more micronutes to it.

Depending on what was happening with the plant I have gone to 1½ and as I recall once or twice (lol) 2 times the recommended dose of BB. Most of what my plants get comes from the soil.
It could have been the plants or it could have been something I was doing. But like I said since abandoning the TB ,I have been happier with the results.
I may or may not add a tsp of epsom and I also use silica.
No, I don't normally use cal-mag. I have it on hand but have rarely seen a need for it.
