Plant seems to be slow maturing?

I thought the humidity went down as winter came in? Seems like other then the rain you would be fine on moisture. Of course everybody doesn't live in my part of America.

Unfortunately where I live is tropical'ish weather, good for summer, but because it's just gone into autumn the transition is a bit hard sometimes. Humidity can be 30% one day and 95% the next. Todays is 81% but by tonight if god forbid it's stayed dry enough it should be down to about 60-50%. Our humidity drops off once the real cold comes, but by then my plants are gone from either storms or -5 degree mornings.

Probably doesn't help living less than 100 meters from the ocean either haha.

But yeah, you did nail it tbh, without the daily showers it'd be fine, the humidity wouldn't spike as high, the plant wouldn't get as wet from rain, nor as damp from humidity.
 
Yeah that makes complete sense. Our autumn is just the same. It could be 70 degrees and 80% humidity then the next day be 45 degrees and 30% humidity. Good luck with it. Looks like it will be a helluva harvest.

The luck was not good, in the past 24 hours bud rot has shown in one of the tops, the weather isn't getting any better and the plant began looking less and less healthy so I've chopped her. my mates coming around with a loupe for me later on but I know she's premature but I decided it wasn't worth risking anymore nugs since the weather isn't getting any better.

So far I've only found 1 small section of the top that was rotted so hopefully I got it nice and early and it hasn't affected the rest of the plant. I was going to hang dry this girl whole but even premature she weighs an absolute tone and the nugs are extremely dense, a screen dry might be in order I think to prevent anymore issues. If the losses are minimal I think it's going to yield well beyond my expectations for my first outdoor grow and lack of love.
 
It's pretty upsetting to see these buds so premature and still so dense and resinous, I'd of loved to see them reach their prime but I doubt I'd of lasted a week without losing the whole plant given the conditions.

Yeah, I was checking it every morning and night, went for my nightly check and noticed some leaves and buds looking a bit off in a top, separated it and sure enough was beginning to rot, Honestly probably didn't have to scrap as much bud as I did, it was probably only 2g affected but from a nug or 2 below to the top I got rid of, better to be safe than sorry.

Went with a full wet trim and separated as many nugs as I could for drying, left the tops and smaller nugs on the stems to leech themselves but I was scared given their density of them getting mold now. Drying in a rh of 40ish% so hoping to dry the separated nugs in 6-10 days and the biggest tops still attached in 8-14 days, then few weeks cure and I guess we'll know whether it was a complete waste. Luckily pulled just under a lb off the Exodus Cheese that's mint so it could be worse, could have nothing at all.

This was the majority of it, there was a bit on the buds that were above this so I just scrapped from a couple bud sites down to the top of the nug.

Luckily I haven't spotted any on the other buds, so be them premature at least not a total waste hopefully.
The top to the right behind the front one is the one that I lost.

Also noticed when I was trimming it it looks like a lot of the buds were about to start foxtailing, maybe I screwed up or the weather did and that's why it didn't finish in time, or maybe it naturally foxtails and I just didn't account for a 16 week flower xD

They're nice sized buds, would of been amazing had of they matured. Might have to find a good SLH line and order some seeds for it and give it go a go under the HLG lights.

Yeah, live and learn. I always though indoor would be harder, but from my experience this year indoor seems so much easier not to f' up. Just started a Strainhunters Money Maker, Victory Red Russian XXL and Victory Bubblegum + pro so if I can't make approx 1.2lbs last until they're done then I probably need to take a smoke break anyway.

I haven't done wet weight don't usually bother but judging from prior experience i'm going to guess this'll pull about 4oz dried and cured. Bit disappointed in myself, but given how shit everything went this attempt I can't call it a total failure.

These plants almost died 3 times in their first 5 weeks. Was transplanted outdoors early, wasn't acclimatized, just chucked them in the ground. Were left for 10 days unattended merely weeks into the grow phase, have been belted by 100KMH winds twice, so all in all Im sort of grateful it even made it and didn't hermie from stress haha. I wish I could've seen this guy grow without a 6ft tall Exodus Cheese infront of it.
