okay, my idea was that if i cut off those leaves, the plant could focus its energy on the healthy plants. what do you guys think of the plants? i just put them in the larger cubes. they were sitting in a little starter tray for longer than i would have liked.

the plant is able to keep up trust me , you need all the green you can get, the plant is good at taking care of its foliage, anything we do can only slow it down so let it use the stored nutriants in the leaves .. theyl dryup and fall off if there not needed.

I would pull them leaves off and I always do right throughout the grow but thats just my opinion.

tell me what you think? picture 2 and three are of the same plant. i am wondering if i should cut off the lower leaves that are fucked up?
if u wanna cut anything cut that foil..thats probably y ur plant looks like that..foil has no reflectivity just produces heat and thats what u dont want...if im not mistaken that is foil n not mylar right?

yes that is foil. i have mylar though. i was just covering it so algae will stop growing. i did it just before i took the pics. it hasnt even been 24 hours so i dont think it has had n effect.

are you sure that foil wont reflect a little bit? i saw it done on "seemorebuds" video 1. he used it to cover net pots in an aeroponic set up to keep light out.

I don't see how the ".foil has no reflectivity just produces heat and thats what u dont want" makes any sense.

Regardless , having it hit under the leaves is pretty useless.

Soil Moisture evaporation is also important , helps balance the watering cycle and gives the roots some air :>

foil to keep algae out of the resevoir makes sense but i dont know if its good for ur plants cuz it might get them to hot (heat stress) and it might make ur resevoir water to hot..its very common when ppl use foil but mylar is all good
