Nitrogen Deficiencies:
Plants will exhibit lack of vigor, slow growth and will be weak and stunted. Quality and yield will be significantly reduced. Older leaves become yellow (chlorotic) from lack of chlorophyll. Deficient plants will exhibit uniform light green to yellow on older leaves, these leaves may die and drop. Leaf margins will not curled up noticeably. Chlorosis will eventually spread throughout the plant. Stems, petioles and lower leaf surfaces may turn purple.


one would assume buying some Nitrogen supplement would fix the problem..

it's normal for a plant to exhibit some nitrogen defficiency in late flower (necrosis). the plant is using the fan leaves as fertilizer as it finishes it's life cycle.

Harvest isn't close untill bud is hanging from a line curing, even then a 2 legged rat can rain on your parade, don't count your oz's before its dried, maybe you could put a couple of smaller poor quality photos up in order to even up the guessing game, could be burnt, could be a deficiency, maybe its bugs, maybe its just you trying too hard. In any case, you might want to hold off on your big harvest festival, then go back to your dealer and tell him you were just joking when you said he was going to have to come to you for weed.

It doesnt look burned to me- probably lacking a little nitrogen..

Im going to be hanged for this but I added a VERY SMALL amount of grow nutes to my flowering plant and my leaves turned back to green in less than 1 week- right now Im flowering 5 plants- huge ones.. I added grow nutes (small amount) for close to 4 weeks into flowering- no yellow leaves- just perfect emerald.....

been flowering for 33 days. the pot size is a bit less than 5L, which is admittedly too small and the plant must be pretty root bound but i don't have room for a bigger pot. has only been repotted once... about 3 weeks into veg (ages ago) and i'm feeding it with a fertilizer called 'ionic soil'. it's special for soils but doesnt have an NPK rating. i also feed it a bit of seasol (seaweed extract) i feed it about every 3rd watering

Cool, that helps.

If you're using Ionic, I'm going to guess you're in the UK. Do you know the quality of your tapwater? Are you in a hard water area? It's highly likely from what you've said, that it's a little N deficient, but it could also be Mg, because that's about the time Mg problems start surfacing.

Small pots and a long potting time really does suggest Nitrogen deficiency though.

So while you were tallying up my post count did you bother answering the lighting question? I might have been a bit sarcastic by giving a half-assed answer to a question that can only be answered by guessing, the plants didn't look all that dire to me so I tried to list some possibilities not so much as a diagnosis but more to highlight some of the complexities involved, I was only trying to get the newbie to feel incompotent enough to quit panhandling grow knowledge and go read a little on his or her own, I didn't realize answering lame rookie questions was the way to that moral high ground graf is camped out on, here is another site if you'd like to go and tally my posts there too bucks buffalo buds - CANNABIS.COM Message Boards - Quality Marijuana and Hemp Information I'd send you to Overgrow but they shut that site down 4-5 years ago, by the way you figure that lighting question out yet, or have you been to busy beating your chest and counting posts? OK sorry 'bout that last dig graf, I think its way more fun for me and my stoner buddies to have a laugh or two at the rookies expense, than it is too waste our time restating grow f.a.q's over and over for someone who is too lazy to read them on their own. Maybe, just have them post addresses and we will grow it for them, cure it and send them out weighed up baggies of product, or go and have a 6 week sleepover with the newbie so all the words don't confuse them, and then you could pull that passive aggressive holier than thou shit on them in person, plus it would free up sometime for you to get that post-per-day average up a few points!

I'm in Australia and i have a filter tap at home so the water is nice.

i've got an orchid fertilizer which is 11.8% Nitrogen but doesn't contain any Mg, should i try that at a low dose? i've tried foliar feeding with a bit of ionic but that made no difference.

boba, i understand your frustration at people who don't read up before they ask questions. but a lot of the time, people do read up but still can't find the answer, or they just want some second opinion. to be able to show a picture to more experienced growers to gain even more knowledge on growing is a gift.

luckily, the vast majority people at this site aren't in it to sound like they know everything. they are here to help out, get help, and generally converse with people that all have something in common; a love for green thumbery.

i don't mean to put you down, but perhaps if you think you are greater than everyone and you think newbies are just a waste of space (which is extremely naive because every grower has to grow their first plant sometime) than you should just tell your friends that. and not go around posting it, because as you can see, it will get you nowhere.

You asked the question I answered and made the suggestion that you shouldn't burn the bridge with your connection, I have first hand exp. with ruining a plant through abuse and having that smoke id been counting on be unusable, so take my advice or don't , looked like the pot size was a little small, rootbound plants won't do as good, you should take some cuttings before too much more time goes by, the next time you ask for a diagnosis you need to make sure and explain the plants enviornment better that way it isn't such an open ended question and you won't seem quite as green, ,

you could quit and switch to pills all you have to do is swallow them, good luck
