Plant problems, need some help guys please!

Hey guys, I was wondering if I could get a little help from our "community". I'm growing in soil, Happy Frog. 5 weeks into Veg, all of a sudden one of my girls stopped growing, it's been over a week. She's starting to yellow up from the bottom. I'll post a pic. Also, my other girl, girl #2 has what looks like leaf rot all of a sudden. I'm using Jack's Classic, 20-20-20, which I am using this grow because of all the positive posts about it. I'm currently using cfl's, I've got 8 on 2 plants. Light seems to be fine. They'll be going into a 5X5 tent under a 600 HPS for 12-12 this week. I'd like to get this problem under control first, I'm assuming it's a deficiency problem, or nute burn. What do you guys think? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Is it too early for me to be freaking out?? Thanks in advance guys.

Oh one more thing. My soil PH is 7.0 I test it all the time, and both before and after feeding, it's always stayed at 7.0 From what I've read, that's ok for soil grows. Thanks

Thank you VRZ, do you think that;s the problem with both of the plants? The yellowing on the big one, and the leaf rot look on the 2nd? I'll get on this right away. Do you think they'll be ok and not stunted/fucked up from here on out?

hey bud, salt build up could be causing the nute lockout. Definitely a deficiency like vrz stated. 5 weeks into veg, the time frame for salts build up seems about right. Run some plain RO water and maybe foliar feed for a few days. Maybe some more experienced growers then myself will chime in. You got them this far so you're probably doing things right, could be just build up.

maybe try lowering the ph to 6.5ish and see if that makes a difference. Also keep in mind the rust spots will stick around for a while, look for healthy new growth at the tips rather then per-existing damaged leaves.

Thanks a lot guys, I really appreciate the input. So I'll try that. RO water with some CAL MAG in it, and see how they respond. So you think a little PH down? Should I wait to see if the RO with CalMag works before I mess with the PH? They've been great until this bump in the road.

can't hurt. Its probably just a deficiency. Honestly earlier I was a bit groggy while checking my emails and such. Salt build up would most likely be later in flower. I also grow in soil (indoor) and try to keep it pretty simple. I try to stay slightly acidic, but definitely not neutral or alkaline. Haven't really had problems knock on wood.

Get those things in check and Im pretty sure your plants will resume doing their thing. Cal/mag, ph, and I wanna say it could be boron (the rust spots). A lot of cannabis trouble-shooting websites kinda merge all their info together and overlap, what I mean by that is I've seen the rust looking spots be attributed to boron and manganese deficiencies, as well as calcium and magnesium.

I would look at the back of your nutrients, it should have a break down. I use Miracle Grow tomato food (I know harsh stuff) but it works pretty good, and I haven't really run into problems in a few grows. Back of it tells me where the NPK comes from, but if you keep reading it will mention Iron, Mg, Mn, or whatever else it may have in it. Good place to start diagnosing your problem is it know what you are feeding the plant.

Most problems I have had in the past were brought on by over watering, other then slight burn. Just food for thought, its pretty easy to cause a lock out of nutrients. Just dial everything in and look for healthy new growth.

The last pic (3rd from right), the plant definitely looks over watered. Also, even though I see some nute burn, that could be older, there is a Nitrogen deficiency going on. Yellowing from the bottom up.
I never really used designer nutes, just the cheapest stuff I can find locally. Seems like designer nutes are not only over priced, but these type of problems are being reported a lot with the use of them. I wonder if they might be excluding chemical elements in hopes of average growers running to them in panic and buying them up separately.

Your pot is a bucket, does it have drainage holes in the bottom?
