Plant problems/advice

UPDATE: I LEARNED TO POST PICTURES! Here are the ones I took earlier today - contrasted with the ones I have in a couple posts down... I dont know whats goin on with these girls.

Hey guys - I've been reading up on the forum throughout my grow. I finally found my camera and thought Id see if I could get some advice. I accidentally found myself growing. And this is my first grow ever - I'm trying to do it on a shoe-string budget.

I have two plants growing that are somewhere between 6-8 weeks. I don’t really remember when I started them. I didn’t expect to ever get to this stage since I’ve killed every houseplant I’ve ever tried to grow. But here I am - I just started flowering and I’m not very sure of what I’m doing.

The problem I think I’m having is that the ends of the tips of my leaves on Esmeralda are all pointing down.

Also, on Birdella, some of the stems are purple - can this be fixed with Epsom salt? - She (I hope) also isn’t as full as Esmeralda - is she stretching or could I just have two different strains?

I hope this posts - I’ve tried twice in the past day and none will go through - I thought maybe it was because of my pictures, so rather than put them in my post, I posted them all in my gallery. Let me know if I can give more info.

I have them under 4 cfl's and one florescent tube.

Since my last one posted - maybe this will let me post pics!

Ok so... maybe I need a picture-posting FAQ, but since I havent figured out a way to do that yet, I'll describe my other question.

Is it normal for the leaves to get really droopy when they are in their dark cycle? I got a green light so I can look at them when its dark and I noticed this for the first time. It almost looks as though they are badly in need of water, but I wanted to make sure that it doesnt just happen when they dont have light.

it sounds like they are over watered

The thing is they just turned that way and I havent watered them for about 2 days

Once again - tyring to get a picture up of the ladies for yall to see... I dont know why I can put them in my gallery but not on a post

Welome to the forum, Don. A little more information about your space might be helpful here.
A rule of thumb I use has helped me with this type of problem, if in doubt flush it out. Use correct ph water and pour it over your plants and lets it drain. The only problem this won't solve is poor drainage. I don't think thats a problem or they wouldn't have gotten this far. Yes the leaves will droop at night, kinda like they are going to sleep. the drooping leaves act a little like a blanket. Remember its cooler at night, and no light to stretch up for. VV

don, you say you havent waterd for 2 days, how does the soil feel ? looks to me like the roots are wet in that pic. in a pot that size w/right temp and light and soil you should only be watering twice a week at the very most. if you can keep your temp at 75 youll only have to water once a week . goodluck

Thanks for all the replies guys - the space Im growing in is actually a shitty shower that my asshole landlord made himself - the walls are painted white and its about 6 feet high - mess isnt a problem since there is a drain - Dumbly ( I didnt realize the task I was taking on) I bought some shitty soil that I dont even know the name of - it was cheap and thats why I went with it - now I'm kicking myself since I really could have bought better soil in the begining. I think a lot of my problems may be due to shitty soil. I bought fox farm nutes however.

I try and wait till the soil is realativly dry the first couple inches.

So no one replied - are the purple stems on Birdella bad?

Btw I started LST today .. I hope it turns out well!
