Plant problem

There have been some small areas that have had a red stem. There are also what seems to be some rust / tan colored necrosis on the leaves. Some look like the tips may be curling down. It also is very slowly progressing up the plant.

As you can see in the first picture there are rust / tan colored spots all over the leaf. It starts generally at the veins then progress throughout the rest of the leaf.

The second picture is more of an early stage of it. You can see it starting on the back leaves of the veins and on the closest veins. You can also sort of see the other leaf in the first picture in the background as well.

I am a first timer and I'm happy to say that this morning I found out it was a female. So if possible I would like to save it. I know the more information I can provide the more you guys can help. So I started this plant in a 6" or 7" pot with Miracle Grow Moisture Control. I then transplanted it into a 3 gallon pot that had Pro-Mix soil in it with work castings. So I'm sure that probably had something to do with it. Any and all help is appreciated. :-)

:peace:

Does not that bad, did you drip any kind of nutes on the leaf?
Could just possibly be the change in soil conditions, I really would not worry too much.

Well I have had this problem for a while now. It creeps up the plant slowly but it eventually consumes the leaves its on and then continues until the leaf wilts off. Then it progresses up a node. Like I said though, the process of it is fairly slow.

At first from what I read up I thought it was a Mg deficiency because occasionally the tops of my plant would be awfully perky like they were praying. I researched a lot before I gave up and asked for help. :-P

Sometimes the lower leaves die off when the plant no longer needs them.

Just for an example, look in my Indoor journal. I pick off a couple of leaves every 3- 4 days from the bottom because the plant has new growth and sheds the old.

If you are worried about deficiencies then just get an all around nutrient like a 20-20-20. Just make sure the label has trace elements of micro nutrients in it. the only thing I can see that your plants need is maybe a little more light.

I will take a peak at your journal. I suppose it could be old leaves shedding. I currently use a 150w HPS for it.

I am just trying to figure out what is up since this is my first attempt. Got to learn from mistakes right? :-) This is more of a trial run to see how it would go. I would like to try again at a later date with a more solid knowledge base.

Thanks for the help so far. + rep :-)
