hey i am growing the widow and the church and i am six weeks into flowering now. I have noticed that the church has a couple of seeds on some of the buds but the widow has zero. I am pretty sure it has hermied but none of the seeds are on any of the buds that matter....only the little popcorn one. I dont want to chop him/her. Is it ok to leave her in there with the widow. I figured its ok now i only have a couple of weeks left and still no seeds on the widow. Thanks

if it has hermied it probably seeded what it could.
i'd say just look for the balls and cut em down.

a plant can sometimes seed itself without any visible balls. happens.

oh, and trash any clones of the hermi.

Yeah just keep a close eye on ur widow. And why not just smoke the seedy popcorn buds dude I wouldn't be too sad I'd just throw those in ur woods or whatever see if u can get hermi weed growing everywhere hahah.

there are no signs of pollen balls anywhere just a couple of seeds on the buds!! I will keep a close eye on the widow...I didnt know if females could just have some seeds....

Are you sure they are seed pods? I am growing some Lowryders and I thought that I had seeds coming in but it turns out that they are just swollen calyx's.

they are actually in the buds and i can kinda see the seed sticking out of it already. Im pretty sure they are seeds. my widow has the big swollen ones like you say but they explode with white hairs. i picked one out and peeled it and it looked just like a seed.

Ok sorry to hear that bud! I was just trying to be optimistic. Well a few seeds here and there is better than no smoke at all.

if you see something brown\grayish-brown starting to pop out - its a seed.

i had some papaya plant that seeded 2 runs ago. yield was crap as hell (due to a lot of other reasons like being flowered at 3 inches height), the buds were seeded but it got me high as crap a few days ago.

lesson - even seeded yield is good compared to no yield.

some females will produce a seed it is necessary for the genetics to survive let it to you harvest and then plant that baby and get another great grow going

I'm not sure what the hell leftreartire is saying. If you have a crop thats going hermie, don't plant the seeds! Why on earth would you want to propagate a strain of MJ thats going to keep going seedy?

Some females WILL NOT produce a seed just because it needs to survive. That is ludicrous. You may as well say,

"Some women will become pregnant without sperm. It is necessary for their genetics to survive"

I'd advise ignoring what leftrear said. Its scary he has that many posts, its the reason forums can have their trustworthiness called into question. Everything else in this thread is sound as far as I can tell.

Sorry to hear about the hermie, best of luck with that widow.
