Plant not revegging

Here's the pic of veg try 2. She has more leaves, beeswax or duck tape seals the cuts, top fed vit. B in Superthrive. She's drinking a tiny bit of water so I guess that's a good sign.mom2.JPG

This thing took over a month to reveg but it was battling mites too. It started as a clone too late in the season. I wanted a challenge. This is her when she went outside in July (anemic and ugly after growing under shitty lights all winter) and 4 days ago.IMG_1789.JPG IMG_2177.JPG IMG_2575.JPG

It's going to take about two months before you will get clonable shoot off her but be patient

I normally just push them to the back and work on something else aka new beans and let her do her thing then when you get normal leaves and shoots then clone. It will start if as ugly as fuck single leaves and frosty everything but give it time and she will go back to veg status

These are all reveged and clone alien rift

I've never once messed with the roots to reveg. Just gave them a dose of veg feed and kept the lights on.
Maybe some strains just do better then others.

She still looks the same 5 days later. I would say she drinks at 1/5 the speed as when she was uncut. I'm going to file that fact.

As long as it stays green and is taking in water I believe it will come back...it takes awhile though...here is a Skunk #1 I started about a month back...its just starting to grow out some new branches.
I'd say a month to root and start new branches and another month to grow enough to pull some clones from or 2 months if planning on flowering again...minimum, but thats just my observations from my project(s).

I did a Karibbean Mango a few years ago this way and its still going...think it took 3-4 months before I started taking clones from her.

That's what the first one was, Sk#1, and was the only one I had. Haven't tried it yet. Only have crosses of it now in seed form. Should be pretty good though, would you say? Had garlic powder and a little rubber smell to it when growing, but doesn't smell like that now cured.

I only got a small sample (~1g) from my buddy...and 2 small popcorn buds to re-veg...the sample was good, but I think he may have cut it a week too soon myself.
Besides that it had a nice danky smell as you said...sweet garlic and almost a fuel kind of smell...it also had a bit of a mold smell for a little bit which I think came from being grown in a damp basement and not using a filter on the air intake.
I have 2 so 1 will be grown into a mother for clones and the second plant will be for my next project...using CS to make some seeds...I will be doing this with all 4 of the strains I currently have going now (Karibbean Mango, Green Crack, Gorilla Glue #4 and Skunk #1).

Attempting my 1st re-veg from SIPs with full intact roots.

Reason I'm trying this? I hope the roots should already have hit rez from prior run and are ready to rock hard this run. I'm only a couple days in but I'm in no rush either - sounds like it may be questionable on the time to switch back vs dropping in new plants and just letting them root in, but I'm counting on the existing root structures and being in the rez/well established to be worth the wait.

Anyone have tips/tricks for those trying a re-veg beyond the obvious/already covered? I've backed my lights way down to avoid stress so mine has R/W/B channels and I took it to 10/33/33 to get the blues rocking with still a hint of reds.

So far nute wise all I've done is dropped some insect frass on top of main root mound and watered in, etc with some SLF-100 to help. Waiting on my soil report to make real adjustments/reamendments... need a new batch of EM-1 to expand and get into the rez before it gets nasty.

Old Timers Haze clone taken in early flower and revegging

Ciskei harvested and then put out in the greenhouse last spring to reveg with a couple lower branches. Pic was taken a while ago. It's much farther along now. I'm going to try and reveg it again after harvesting.

Any updates?

I'm trying my first re-veg and came across this while searching.
The second looking like a fail too. I revegged a couple years ago and it worked on 7/8 plants of indica dom. This time plant is sativa and it was bigger and took away like 7/8 of the plant instead of I guess 1/2 when it worked but I don't exactly remember that one. Both times I didn't trim or lollipop so there would be bud on the bottom to reveg from. Thought this would be easier than cloning :(

Just an update on my earlier post, I'm in the home stretch. I can harvest any day now but I'm just in a solid 6th week of flowering, I was expecting 8 weeks but the wind and rain and 10c night temps seems to have sped it along. These pics are 6 days old and when it was still looking OK. The calyx have swelled and the buds are quite dense and heavy. The only issue so far has been some powdery mildew on the lower branches.
