Plant not flowering?

I feel like I've seen those pistles for a while now and they've barely changed. not how I remember my last grow.flowering in pic #2, you're good

How long has it been on the 12/12 light cycle? Have you double checked the timer to see if it's going off when it's supposed to and coming on at the right time?
around a week but the only reason I switched it from 18/6 to 12/12 is because I started suspecting that it wasn't an autoflower. Im a bit of a newbie grower so don't judge lol

So it's supposed to be an auto flower? It's not an auto if it went 8 weeks without flowering. If you just flipped to 12/12 a week or so ago you should start seeing bud development this week. Depending on the strain it can take 2-3 weeks after flip to start to see flowering and pure Sativa's can be much longer in some cases. Hope you have enough height for the plant as it will stretch to probably double the height it is now. Pay attention to it for the next couple weeks and if it's heading for the light you can do some training to keep it manageable. What strain and breeder are you growing?
oh god. double height???? I have no idea the strain, a friend gave me seeds since he wasn't able to grow anymore.

Indicas will usually stretch from .5 - 1 times their height at flower and sativa's can go 2-4 times their height. Get your light as high up as you can and then measure down the distance the light company recommend for the height. That will give you an idea of the highest point you can let the plant grow to and then you'll have to just watch it as it gets close to the max. Getting a lux meter to read the light intensity is a really good investment to help you set the light distance.

Give it up to a couple weeks to transition under the 12/12 - it doesn’t happen in under a week. Plant will continue to show sex and preflower.
And yes it will stretch. You can still LST this plant. That simple training method will help temper any height issues.
You could have topped it before now and broke the typical Xmas tree shape it would take. But just continue on.
Patience is the hard part of any grow.

It’s on the right track … female.
It is expressing sex , it probably was gonna happen at week 6 -8 anyways.
Just try not to overthink it , it’s a plant …. Doing plant shit.

I just got nervous because with my last grow it was a lot smaller when it started flowering.

Looks like you let it get to good size before flipping , it’s just ready for the next chapter.
Look into Topping , LST training , Supercropping , Scrog to help you “ pre-shape “ a vegging plant , no rules saying which is better , just that you can manipulate growth ….. even autoflowers.
I do all kinds of shapes - NO RULES.
Whatever I feel like. Some strains actually like it .
Update around 1 week later: I’m not noticing any changes.
