Plant not flowering, help please.

Hi, this is my 5th grow, single plant, and the strain is Hindu Kush. I grew the same strain a couple months ago, did fine, had nice hairs on it at the beginning of flowering, did great.

Vegged this plant for 5 weeks, and it's been in flowering for 6.

Fox farm soil, no nutrients this grow, using distilled water, 100w worth of CFL bulbs, 2700k for flowering.

However, this plant is different. For one, it grew extremely tall with small branches coming off the main stocks (topped 4 times), it's actully around 5 ft.

Second, it produced hairs to show me it is a female, but only 4-6 per main stock in random V places on the stock.
I did take 3 clones from this plant, all in soil now and doing well, but one clone is already starting to produce white hairs even with 18.6 ratio of vegative light.

Third, the hairs that did grow on the stocks have stopped since, and turned a brownish color.

The lights have been on 12/12 ratio for the past 6 weeks, temp at 72-78 degrees...
Not sure what's going on, it's like my plant went from veg, to flowering, then back to veg, but all under 12/12 light?

Help please?! Thanks, -
James

Big plant wants big lighting..Jmho.. With no light leak or timer issues.

The hairs are just showing that's it is mature and ready for flowering, it's not necessarily flowering.
Im guessing-
1. Light leak (light is leaking in during the dark period) what he was saying
2. Faulty timer

Well, if you have checked to make sure you don't have any light leaks, then I would say it is time to start over. A kush plant should only take 8-10 weeks total to flower.

I ran three vanilla kush from Barney's a while back and two of them did very similar things to yours. Mine didn't show at all by week five, just stretched and stretched, so I chucked them out. Something that doesn't flower is just no use to me. The other vanilla kush, and the 3 Cheesus I had in there too behaved perfectly - so this sort of thing can happen without light leaks, timer issues. As a relevant aside, the kush that did flower ok took 10 weeks for 85% cloudy 15% amber.
