hey my plants are 12 days old and they don't look too good.

The first one is burnt, and the last two are curling and I don't know why. the ph is below 6.5 in a hydroponic setup. with just root stimulator at 1/4 strength in the solution.

Thanks for posting in my forum. I posted again. So I will post here to help you. Are you still using those 42w CFL's? Maybe they are producing to much heat. I noticed mine got a bit hot the 42w one. The others produced a lesser amount of heat. Also are you feading it nutrients and how far are lights from the plants? My plant is progressing wonderfully and its just over 12 days I believe.

I used 1/4 strength superthrive with my root stimulator
. And I moved them all away from the plants so that they are about 5 inches away.

plants that young need more then just superthrive, you can pick up netted pot for a quarter each, or reuse some from store bought plants. you will need nutrients for these lil gals. an easy solution is a hydro 3 pack nute. its cheap and easy. start low, like 1/4 strength the recomended dosage. and work your way up. use good water, RO, distilled, filtered, if it is tap, then leave it in a bucket 24h so the chlorine will evaporate. stay away from foil unless its too cover your food. its not very predictable. you can get mylar for the walls at the dollar store in the form of wrapping paper. fresh air, good water, good light, good grow mediium, good nutrients, TLC. your good to go. happy grow good luck and peace

Hiding... working... ssdd
I'm using a soil pH meter leaving the probe in the water... I can keep it at 5.5 - 5.7 for the most part... Lemon juice to lower and baking soda to raise... Next grow will not be with this shit btw...
Peace

Thanks bro, it's nice to still be here...

Kieahtoka - You'll be much happier with the meter than those color coded pos test kits ;) Your babies will thank you later :D

lol ok, well one of them that had the burnt under leaves I put in ph 7.0 water and out in the sun as kindof a flushing for a couple of hours, then put it back int he grow room. If there is no improvement I'll try again, and after that Well I dunno.
