no its a lil bit o sand. i read that adding sum sand would help deter or kill bugs like mites but its not really big enough for an inch or so like they said

its from a beach in florida lol my moms brought a whole jug filled with it when we went on vacation.i thought it would be better to add the white natural sand then yellow lookin playground sand

To much salt in that sand your killing it, well have killed it. Need to do a bit more research before trying again. At this point, I see no saving it.

you know, if you're going to use that mix, I would start the seeds in rockwool cubes to let them get a nice root system before planting them in the mix. The soil mix does look much too moist which can nix a plant before it gets a chance at life. Just a thought. But if you want a soil that is great for ganja and newbs, go with some fox farm ocean forest, or happy frog. This soil is fool proof and herb just goes off in it, I've been using it for years.

I used to use the oceans forest also. try out 1 bag of the roots organic.

Let's see if a can guess it it was east west or southern Florida sand. Lol. Based on the texture I am guessing southwest Florida.

It does look bleached, I left 2 seedlings out for 2 days by accident once. They had the same white leaves as a result :leaf:
