So I posted a thread earlier about this problem but its escalated into something a lot worse. Btw, I'm growing a white widow clone, she's almost two months old and has been in 12/12 for 12 days. Its an indoor grow in foxfarms hf soil, with 220 watts of cfls mixed spectrums. Temp is around 80F with lights on, 70F with lights off. PH is always tested before watering and I water every 3 days and nutes every other watering.
Anyways, the first problem I started having was with thrips. They fucked up my plant pretty good and I just recently got them taken care of with some safer insect spray with pyrethrins and mosquito dunks added to the watering to kill larvae. I would say that during the time I had thrips, I also started getting rusty spots on the leaves and the veins turned a dark reddish color. Now I'm watching my whole plant lose its color, the new leaf growth is extremely curled or deformed, all the leaf tips are slightly burnt, and the edges of the leaves are brown and starting to become crispy. I have tried a lot of things - I flushed with clearex almost three weeks ago and today I just flushed again with the runoff reading at a PH of 6.5. The problem with the leaves getting rust spots, curling, turning yellow or brown and then dying has just been getting worse over time. I've been watering with nutes every other watering at 1/2 strength (Botanicare grow, bloom, and cal-mag). I suspected the spots on the leaves were from a calcium deficiency but the cal-mag doesn't seem to be doing any good. If anyone could help me out I'd really appreciate it...this is my second grow (first indoors) and I really don't want this plant to die after growing so nicely until now, thanks in advance! I feel like I've looked into everything..
