Plant is budding way to early

My plant is only 4-6 inches tall, its been growing for 3 weeks and for some reason there are buds growing..Any reason is to why buds are growing so early. Could i also harvest these buds or is the plant still to young. The problem for the plant is that its not on its 5th node yet, its at its third. I think the plant is a retard/herm because there are seeds with no male plant around.

You started to late. The daylight hours are to short and flowering seasons.

Are you in Australia?.....cause it's springtime there.......here in North America it's fall and like most other plants, mj needs to be planted in the springtime. Good luck.....

for this time of year grow an auto. because of shortening days your yield will be on the low side. GL

I live in Southern California, i started growing that plant in late August. But since its a retarded herm. Would the seeds it produces be good to grow?

Started way too late... Bottom line IMO, take from it what you can and use it as a learning experience.
