Plant growing slower on one side

This is a do si do auto been struggling withe the temps in the tent with the temps in the uk being crazy i over watered/nutrients in the heat panicking since been flushed only 2 of the leaves got bad (ish) nute burn the bottom leaves that are now missing tips! My question is this is lights on on day 17! Is it looking ok thinking the heats slowed it down! And the other question is why are the leafs growing faster on one side then the other?? And is there a way to correct this ie pin one side down let the other grow?

they r probably a bit stunted. do your best to dial in the temps and humidity. it’s a hot summer so it’s going to be tough. Make sure you have plenty of air moving in ur tent. a couple of oscillating fans on low to keep air moving can go a long way. Unusual, droopy, slow growth is usually a sign that the roots r unhappy. U mentioned u overwatered and overfed. I would attribute the uneven and stunted growth to this, and the high temps and humidity r adding insult to injury. I’d Use plain ph’d water, and water only when the pot is nice and light. She is still very young and if your soil is amended she likely doesn’t need any nutes till she gets older and bigger.

What is your light spacing and intensity? Looks like you have 5 nodes stacked about 3 inches high. I would try to encourage a little stretch that'll help with light penetration ad well as airflow and keeping your leaves off the medium.

Its a hlg 100 v2 do you reckon i lift it up a bit to get it to stretch a bit that was going to be my other question??

There is plenty of fans blowing good intake and outtake but last few days been in high 30s because of the weather cant justify running ac for one plant ive not watered it for a couple of days now after some plain water so fingers crosses thats stopped the nute burn. Wpukd you say she is majorly stunted for 17 days?? Im growing in coco thats why ive been giving nutes so early lots of mixed theorys on when to start with the nutes

Here is a pic of one of my gals at about 17days. They are autos. All strains grow a bit differently, but I would say yours are a good bit stunted.

Yeh its definitely a lot smaller just hoping it will sort itself and pull back round as you dont get much time to play with autos do you! Ive grown 2 different strains before no problems at all hopefully this heat has passed now and sorted the watering/nutes issue so wel get some growth fingers crossed woul you raise the light to try get some stretch ive just had it at 18" away like the hlg sent in the manual?

In veg I keep my light at 24”-36” and in flower I’ll lower it to as close as 8” if the genetics I’m running can take it. Correct the issues and the growth should continue as normal but as u mentioned with autos u can’t make up for lost time!

Ive literally just been up and raised it as like oodawg said its has like 5 nodes packed in like 3 inchs wondered what was causing that as never had that issue before but couldnt remember where i placed the light last time as its was a few years back! I did have it at about 16inch to maybe 18inch from the top of the plant

Brill well ive raised it up now fingers crossed we get some decent growth temps and air flow is fine humidity is a little low but not much i can do its currently at 45% but temp is 26c lights on

I'd raise it to 3+ feet from the top until she starts stretching out to your liking then lower it incrementally until you find the sweet spot. As boogie mentioned the genetics will dictate that. I one of 4 plants in my tent last run that while all others were loving the light at 16" she would literally turn away from it until I raised it up to 2 ft then she'd start praying again. I'm sure you still got time. Encourage stretch.

Well 2 days later want some outside opinion ive raised the light way up now trying to get her to stretch a bit! I dont like how the nodes are that close to each other its like all the leaves are fighting with each other for light but dont want to pull any of them off and maybe stunt her more then she already is also the first leaves that came out are struggling with being so low and getting bigger they pretty close to the soil should i pull them 2 as dont want them resting on the wet soil maybe causing problems?? hope all this makes sense

The new growth already looks better and you can finally see some light in between the nodes there!

Take this with a grain of salt because I don't grow autos, if that were a photo plant I was growing I'd strip the bottom 2 nodes off as there not getting much light as it is and I'd rather the plant direct its energy into the nodes up top that are in the glory of the light than the little suckers in the shadows barely growing. I usually wait until the plant hits its 5th or so node anyways to strip the bottom as I always make sure I'm leaving more than I'm taking.

They look much better. You can defoliate a bit. I would do it slowly, 1-2 leaves at a time, and watch how she responds but don’t go overboard. Dosidos is typically very indica dominant so it may just be she’s a short & squat plant. She will stretch in flower a bit still. just keep doing what ur doing and be patient. Provide the best conditions u can and let her do the rest

Looks like shock to me. If the temps fluctuate, and you over watered and over fed step back a little. Let the soil dry out. I was always taught dont water unless the first inch of soil is DRY. I only feed in veg every other watering. But for right now since you over fed, i would flush for the next couple weeks. You dont want salts developing in your soil because they take forever to flush out. Im guessing its shock too from the leaves, it looks like you maybe have 4 nodes possibly one more and they are just stacked but all of your leaves are still on sets of 3 which also is a good sign the plant is under a lot of stress, but I dont know how long you're in on this one. For all i know it could only be a month old

Also it looks pretty small for it having as many nodes as it does, how close is your light and whats the wattage?

Also check the ph of your soil. You might be leaning to acidic which stops nutrient uptake dramatically. Cannabis has a hight tolerance for unsavory conditions but for a well maintained plant the soil ph should be just below neutral. 6.2-6.6
