hi all, i am currently growing 3 plants, of the same type from some bagseed that came from some shit dope... two of the plants are growing extremely well, one was a bit of a runt. anyway, they were all growing in a green house, but we had 44 degree celcius day and the runt had approx 60% of its leaves burnt. since then we allowed it to recover in the green house, but then after a week of recovery we transplanted it into a very nutrient rich patch of soil outdoors. over the past two days i have noticed that the new growth coming off the top of the plant is starting to turn purple as it gets closer to the main stem... as it was bagseed i am unsure whether this weed is just a strain with a bit of "purple genetics" or if it could be nutrient or stress related. any info would be appreciated. cheers, steve.

i should add, i have checked the diagnosis threads, and it does not appear to be nutrient related, as the purple colour seems to travel predominantly along the veins of the new leaves, and in the center of the main cola. (plant has been vegging for about 6.5 weeks, and will not be flowering for abother month or so).

A lot of plants stems esp cannabis will turn purple when exposed to cool temperatures. Its a kind of antifreeze that plants produce as a defence mechanism.

Its all good. Bagseed rocks. You never know what you get!
