Holy cafeteria tables from high school Batman!
I agree there.. the white part on the outside will reflect most light away.. the black side may have a little glow to it on the inside.. maybe not.If the sun hit those windows then you'd want the white side out for sure unless it's winter and the room could use the extra heat. Won't look strange to your neighbours if you cover the windows like that will it?
The Panda Wrap I have is lightproof.Holy cafeteria tables from high school Batman!
Damn those took me back. Nice size space.

I think it may depend on if the film was uv treated. If I’m incorrect plz let me know.
I’ve been looking into prepping my own rooms & I can’t wait to have the space.
Mylar can be a problem with HID lights if it creates hot spots where the reflected light gets focused in a small spot then can burn the tops or leaves. With LEDs or fluoro lights mylar should be OK. LEDs focus the light almost straight down so not enough hits the walls to cause harm and something like T-5s just aren't intense enough to cause hot spots. Tin foil the same if the shiny side is out but the dull side still reflects over 90% and won't create hot spots. You are right
I didn’t realize what I thought was panda film is Mylar
Hate that stuff
What what are? That is exactly what they are
Folks need a little more info about what your plans are. Yes we know it’s a veg room but what is your goals for this veg room. What size pots are you using? Where is your res going to be in the space or outside the space. Folks can give you plenty of ideas but it’s your space and your goals and you are the one working it so come up with a plan and work the plan. I’m sure it’s not what you were looking for but it’s truth that’s all I got for yaThanked for heads up. Have the flooring done already. Just looking for ideas on the setup. The way everything will be situated in the room. Thanks for any help.
I wish you wellSome info about the area and maybe some pics would give us a clue about how to advise you. Don't know if it's the size of a closet or a tennis court or how much head room you have.
