Plant flushing

And ADDING supplements to flush stuff out of soil (or so the flushing myth goes) is so unbelievably ridiculous it's actually beyond a facepalm.

Flushing is a poor attempt at starting fermentation prior to harvest (ie curing before harvest).

The Fermentation technique states that if you immerse your plants roots in water for 3-7 days prior to harvest you produce anaerobic conditions (in other words an oxygenless environment) which causes the plant to start consuming stored starches because it can't produce fresh sugars to live off.

Look it up,the information IS out there.

Very interesting, have you ever tried this fermentation technique?

Nullis is right about 1 thing for sure....dumping molasses on your plants in the final weeks of flower is about the dumbest thing you can do. It's full of nutes that make for harsh smoke.

I don't bother, but some of the real growing experts online (Riddlem3 being the most memorable and the one who posted the guide) have done it and attest to it's effects.

I personally air dry and jar cure...purely because of practicality (it's alot of water) and I'm not in a rush to cure...but it gives growers the ability to cure before chopping from the plant.

I'd post a link to the guide but it's on a rival site and I don't wanna get into trouble.
