plant flowering at 5weeks old

ok heres the deal, i have a 5 week old plant on 18/6 lighting. for lighting i have 4 3ft 20watt (80watts) plant/aquarium fluorescent. im useing fox farms ocean forest organic soil and some fox farm fertilizer (grow big and big bloom). the plant is about 1foot 8inchs tall. its showing signs of flowering all ready. i just started useing the fertilizer for veg. stage just a week ago... so i dont know what i should do? should i swith the light to 12/12 and start useing the fertilizer for the flowering stage? or keep it on on 18/6 alittle bit longer and keep useing the veggy stage fertilizer? thankyou for your help.

well depends if u want clones or u just want to keep it as a mom or just smoke that plant.. whats your plan... wheres your pics

nah no clones. i just wanna grow some good weed and smoke my life away...lol the pics i'll have them soon maybe tomorrow or the day after....

Hi edd, Im new to this forum... It sounds like your plants are showing pre-flowers, unless you have had longer dark periods for whatever reason? Nutes don't change MJ's cycle, only light..
What strain is it? It might be an auto flowering strain... Maybe post some pics.

the longer u veg the bigger the plant the bud increases yield

You can continue to veg if you like which means larger plant and larger buds or you can also go to the flowering cycle of 12 on 12 off to go on and begin producing flowers. It is only a sign that your plant is sexually mature enough to flower, if in fact it is preflowers which it most likely is. It's a good thing.

no, no long dark periods i have the lights on a timer. i dont know the strain i picked it out a batch of some decent bud.... im scared to order seeds online, i dont need any feds on my ass lol, oh i'll have those pics up here tomorrow.

ok i got the picz. the plant is 26 inchs tall, 6weeks old. i just started the 12/12 lighting and i switched to the my big bloom fox farm fertilizer 3 days ago. let me know if the plant looks allright, thanks guys for the help.
