Hey Guys This is my first post, but i have done extreme research on multiple sites. This is the first grow, and because of all your info it is going quite well, but being stupid i decided to wait on PH testing. So before we get into it heres is what i am doing,
Soil Grow 1/2 All Natural Potting Soil + 1/2 Perlite with very very small amounts of nutes in soil like 0.02 Nitrogen etc.
I grew from Seed, and used Jiffy Pellots and root hormones.
10 plants
2 gallon pots
450 watt Son Agro HPS Bulb
3x3' 6' tall space
i have a humidifier and thermostats plus humidity reader.
humidity stays 20 - 35
temp stays 70 - 80 f
24 hr light cycle
Okay The story:
I have been growing and keeping track for a good 4 weeks. I decided to LST them very early around the 4th or 5th nodes.
The have been looking and growing very good and the lst is working amazing the plants are hella bushy and have tons of different branches now. i used nothing but bottled distilled water for watering and never overwatered. the climate is VERY dry here, and i watered when the soil was extremely light and dry about 4 inches down. That came out to about every 3 days.
Then about 3 weeks in i added Nutes a 20 - 15 - 10 Mix with trace elements i started halfpower and have not moved up to full yet.
after i added the nutes the first time the plants loved it and grew very fast.
then i noticed about 2 to 3 days later noticed tiny yellow tips forming on some leaves, so i just watered with reg water the next time. I studied the hell out of the threads and thought that they were nitro burnt because it had very fast growth but new small leaves and bright green compared to dark. Plus a lot more reasons y i thought it was burnt, any ways they have been getting worse with regular water so i thought maybe salt build up in the soil and i flushed after letting the plants get thirsty.
That was a week ago! after the flush 3 plants looked a lil droopy and overwatered which i expected. But the leaves continued to get worse in fact now they r spreading bad and getting much worse but i notice brown spots on some, yellow tips on others and full yellowing on others. Im like WTF hella nutrient defeiciency or what??? So i finally got some testers and found out the water im putting in is at like 7.5 - 8ph (scarey lol) and runoff is anywhere from 7.5 - 8+ on diff plants Very Alkaline So according to research the little bit of nutes i did put in probably didnt get picked up cuz they were blocked! So i freaked out and bought ph- mixed that & a 1/2 nute solution waited a day and watered all plants seperately testing the run off, The ones with real high PH i watered a lil more to flush without flushing lol now we are on the day after that and the droopy plants have picked up and like usual a lot of fast new growth but i noticed way more yellowing so now i come to you the people please help here is pics and let me know what u think is wrong. Thank you so much
