Plant damage

I was LSTing and was trying to find the main stalk and accidentally snapped on of the three tops it would have had. I'm pissed at myself but I need to fix it. MY QUESTION: Can I make this a clone and directions please? pretty please?

Did it break clean off? because that's rare if you didn't rip it all the way off the stem you may be able to methodically tie it back to the main branch and have it be ok. Other then that ya you could clone it, hopefully it hasn't been sitting for too long if its off the plant. To clone you are going to need a sharp knife or razor, make a long diagonal cut, dip it into rooting hormone place in a rooting plug of some type, and have a humidity dome. Also you are going to want to mist the clone 1-3 times a day and keep a small light over it, fluorescent is best

Just as Air said you can tie it back to the main branch. You can use duct tape to mend it if it hasn't come completely off. If it did follow Air's advise, he is spot on about cloning it.

naw,it really did snap, and believe me I tried to tape that sucker back together but it went as limp as it was before. Game over. Then to add insult to injury it happened again! ugh :-?

Thanks to you AIR! I will do exactly what you said. Thank you SO MUCH! I hurried and stuck it in my kangaroot water till I figured out what I could do. Thanks for responding so fast! my hero!

If it was put in water to keep it fresh and prevent a fatal embolism then you could graft it. Just like flowers and trees.

I've done it and now it's just a wait and see.
I had another break off that I did the same way so I cloned it too. I've got them in regular pots with 2 liter bottle halves push in the dirt around them. Hope that does the trick! thanks again ya'll

Next time you LST....
Bend and shape your plants the day after you water, the stems will be more apt to bend...with the extra water...
Good Luck...
