no its not. they counted it toward bud in my situation. plus, a plant is plantable. that would not be. be careful though, they will prob weigh the whole thing.

it's not dead yet....maybe if it's all dried out, then no...

it really depends how pissy the collectors are.

its been cut at the stalk. it goes against all sense, its dead.

its not getting energy from photosynthsis and

its not manufacturing its own food and

its not plantable.

not to mention, ya cant argue with experience. they came in and they counted plants and meds. the hanging plant went into the bud category.

I think hes talking about if you do have a big stalk in a pot of dirt that has been harvested and raped of leaves, I don't think this would count as anything, it would be incidental stalks/stems, I do count it as a plant myself until i destroy it.

It has to be usable marijuana for them to weight it. At that point its not usable.... Its still a plant count at this point. Yes it is dead, but the law states 2 1/2 oz of usable marijuana.

i like how your telling us how it works when i have had the oakland county narc enf team raid me and count my hanging plant as meds.

They may have counted it that way but I really don't see a chopped wet plant being counted as bud holding up in court. Between the way the law reads and the simple logic that you'd never get to 2.5oz of product if you could only have 2.5ox wet.

he didnt ask that. he asked what it is considered, leading one to assume "the leo".

he probably doesnt wanna go to court. hence the thread.

So, I shouldn't let my root balls dry out like this before I throw them in the trash? I drown my plants before harvest so it can take the root ball 2+ weeks to dry out, and that's sitting in front of 24/7 exhaust air from my 400mh veg hood.

The definition of Useable Marihuana:

j) "Usable marihuana" means the dried leaves and flowers of the marihuana plant, and any mixture or preparation thereof, but does not include the seeds, stalks, and roots of the plant.

those are two different things, plant count and usable marijuana. 12 plants and 2.5oz usable marijuana. From my understanding anything with a root still attached can be counted as a plant as you can regrow from that stalk and the PA up here have done so in court, bringing in a "master gardener" to say that it can be done.
Keep a perpetual garden so you are never within the limit, I am usually always at 11, 6 in flower and 5 in veg then 5 in flower and 6 in veg. Always give me the option of keeping aa mother for clones to the "group" if I get a good phenotype.

We've got 2 card holders in my house and I also have 3 patients. That's a total of 60 plants allowed.
Unless I've got a batch of clones going, I'm generally 22 plants away from my limit..

12 flower
12 mid flower
12 in veg
2 mothers
Leaving me 22 plant opening for clones or seedlings.
Since I use all of my plant, I pull and dry my stalks and roots during the harvesting process.

I'm more of a start to finish type I guess.
I even wash out my pots when I'm done harvesting.
Why leave a mess, or today's work for tomorrow ?

How does everyone get rid of there leftovers? As is it, I have about 10 dead plants still in buckets or in a barrel because I am afraid of them taking my trash. It has caused a lot of issues, my refusal to throw any of it away in the trash. The only 2 times I have emptied my grow leftovers like the shit leafs and stalks, I brought them to a bonfire pit and burned it all. Since its been winter, I have not had a good chance to burn it in a while.

render all the usable bits from the roots, stems, twigs, and leaves and then feed the leftovers to an angry legions of pills bugs i keep in a 20 gallon aquarium/terrarium to make dirt for me out of organic scraps

cute little devils...very efficient too
