Just thought id quickly post on here and see if this has happened to many other growers Iv never had it happen to me,

I topped one of my girls and immediately it started oosing out like a dark red sap it looked like blood I had to be sure I didn't nick my finger with the razor blade, I didn't think to take a photo as I was trying to clone the top and put it straight into clonex and a jiffy puck

Has anyone else noticed anything like this?

well I'm the fourth reply so you can trust me
I've topped and seen both red and clear liquid
I think it all depends on strain and every thing going in to the plant.
I don't think its much to worrie about

Red dye will do this in plants but i hardly think anyone would add dye to the soil...

Im unsure but hope we get an answer here...

dye is not accepted through the roots. Ive tried. science class in school we did this with food coloring and celery, doesnt work with bud.

I'm sure Iv seen people using food coloring to give their buds a little bit of a colour chance
idk man that's mostly a strain thing.
I've Hurd a few things about getting purp buds. But idk if they're true

have you ever put a normal garden flower in a cup of dye the leaves uptake the color. It looms unnatural.
I wouldn't buy weed that don't look like weeds suppose to Nor feed my feed my girls any dye

They colour orchids by scraping the stem abit and sticking some sort of dye gum over the scrape, to make the flowers blue , , u can definetly die flowers , that's a fact
