I'll be using coco as a grow medium for my first shot at this, I understand it as somewhat of a hybrid technique between hydro and soil growing. I was wondering what nutrients would be good to use and when for this type of grow medium. I'd also like to keep things as natural as possible, meaning I'd like to stay away from seriously manufactured nutrients such as petro-derived nitrogen fertilizers. A less time intensive strategy is preferred (watering/feeding not more than twice a day if possible). My goal is great tasting buds and high yield, but I'm not in a rush to get there so I don't mind using less potent nutrients if it will improve the yield/taste of the final harvest.
Should I use straight coco or should I mix with soil / add perlite / etc. ?
Thanks!
