So id like to start planning on building a shed in my backyard so i can stay in and grow i can go up too 10x10 feet area and use half to grow in . Ill be having a family friend build it so i just need to make sure i ask for what i need

So ive read tht by 5x5 grow area is good for a 1kwatt but i was thinking more like 7x7 to have some room to move around in, im planning on 6-8 plants..

Would i still need intake or exhuast fans if im running a portable window ac ..or maybe just an exhuast fan connect too the hood of the light..

7x7 grow area
Window ac unit
Reflective material
Outlets
Insulation on walls and floor
Exhuast fan
Air circulation fans

This what ill need for the grow room any input or suggestions on what else i can use to have a good grow room? Nothing overboard lol

If youre planning a single 1k light w/ a 5x5 footprint, give yourself a little more room to move around - you're probably gonna wanna be mixing up your nutes in your shed too unless you plan on doing that outside everyday right?

and dont waste your money on an air-cooled reflector - they suck - just go with the large adjust-a-wing

and yea you'll still want an intake and exhaust with a 4 to 1 ratio - so 1 for intake 4 for exhaust (talking cfm here) stick with that math - you're gonna use a filter right? you don't want tweekers smelling your weed - keep your intake low and your exhaust high (heat rises)

Well ill be staying in it like 2room shed also or somewhere to hang out with the bro n pops when we roll up so maybe 10 by 10 feet overall n use half tht to grow in.. renr free other than energy expenses so far 1400 saved im thinking of starting in the spring after all the rain

I got a germanshepard/lab mix dam horse lol n 12gauge lol but ill still use some filters no need to attract attention lol

Ill look into the adjust a wing then
Yeah ill make sure too run the exhuast out the top ceiling. And for the exhuast and intake what size should i get em ? One for exhuasy and one for intake right?
Using the 4 to 1 ratio for cfms

Yea the filters just help avoid it all - zero attention should be the top priority depending on how much space you have between neighbors

you don't totally have to have the exhaust filter up high, but it will take up space if you're not hanging it from the ceiling so it's something to consider - ive had them on the floor standing up vertical and they worked really well

you can go somewhere between a 4 and 6 inch intake but most likely the 4 will be better and go with a 8 inch exhaust but can probably get away with 6 inch also - i'd advise you only use can (the brand "can") filters - theyre the best and last a really long time - i had one that lasted 9 years

you don't really need reflective material either on the walls but ridged foam works nice if you wanna slap that on the walls

without actually seeing what you're talking about, if i think i know what you're talking about, it's harmless, don't worry about it....plants look healthy right?
