Hey all, I'm trying to plan out things to start my stealth grow (which will also be my first ever grow)...I'm also on a very tight budget.
I got some AK-48 seeds from Nirvana, gonna try growing one at a time to feel it out. Also planning to LST it to keep it shorter if i can...Now onto the plan so far...I suck at drawing.
I don't know what they call those semi-big storage tub things, but I have one that can be pretty inconspicuous sitting in my room with no one noticing it. See attached picture.
CFL lights from the lid..designed like in https://www.rollitup.org/do-yourself/64628-easy-cheap-dyi-cfl-setup.html, with the surge protector attached to that half of the lid with the lights pointing down.
A fan blowing out behind the lights, and a intake fan across from it on the bottom, think of the pictured tub as facing you and see-thru.
I'm using soil for this my first grow...I think it'll be a lot easier for me to handle. By opening the other half of the lid i can get to the plant and see hows its doin, water it, etc.
Also gotta find a timer to put somewhere...and other little tools (moisture meter, ph meter, thermometer, etc.) not pictured. The split going down the middle would be a reflective panel on one said and regular-looking on the other...in case someone else peeks into the tub they dont see anything (other lid would be caulked shut). Panel is removable for me to get to plant.
Anyway, this is my preliminary plan before starting. Might be dumb, I dunno. I've read a lot on this website and elsewhere to get prepared. Any advice appreciated. What do you think?
