Planning a trip to Thailand.

So, me and my buddy want to start planning a trip to thailand. We both have a decent amount of knowledge about thailand and we have a mutual friend who moved there and got married. I am looking for anyone who has been there to help me plan. I am thinking 2 weeks, and flying into Bangkok. I want to see Pattaya, Phuket, of course Bangkok. What else? Where is the best place to go to see the elephants? I want to ride a elephant! What about the tigers? I obviously like the wildlife and nature. What is the best time of year to go for weather and for price? Hopefully we have some members on here with experience!
