There is 3 Plants in an indoor setup, no males in sight and females dont look hermy.

I looked at the ladies today and it appears that on 3 of the plants there is about 20 calyx's that are swollen and the pistols turned orange.

What could cause this? We are about 5 weeks into flowering.

Have you got any pictures? Could just be swollen or pre flowers

the calyxs get more swollen and the hairs turn red as she gets closer to harvest.. good news m8, sounds like harvest is right around the corner for you..

The Calyxes dont seem too swelled, so all should be well.. They are awfully low on resin though for a plant at week 5 flowering & that could be an indicator for pollenated.

They are either nute burned or pollinated. If they are pollinated the pistols will completely die off.Look for nanners in the middle of those buds.I just had a chernobyl hermie and the nanners were hard to see...

If a small amount of pollen managed to find its way in (somehow?got sealed tent filterd air, first grow, no sign of hermy)
Would this ruin my whole crop? *angry face*

Thank you very much for your quick help, muchly appriciated

Nutes are set at a comfortable 1200ppm so i dont think there would be any issues there.
I did have a nute burn incident during vegging, would this be a factor?

turns out the 2 other plants were hermy... had a good look yesterday and seen nothing then today 1 burst pollen sack and balls all through them.

Pitty the nice big female is pollenated with weak hermy dna :(

Will i need to chop the big female? or can i let her go all the way?
I have chopped the 2 hermys

if you keep on top of the nanners and pluck them off as soon as you see them you can let her go all the way, you'll just have seedy bud.
