Pistils turning orange in week 3 of flower? Really need some advice!

Hey guys, so I’m running a 2metre squared tent with two LUXX lighting 645 pros, a 16 pot Medusa run to waste system, 15litre pots dripper fed for 10 minutes four times a day with Athena blended line. Two Exhale co2 bags in there. Input ph is 5.8 EC input is 4.0 and run off is 6ph and 5.4EC, Ppfd at the canopy is sitting between 900-1500(multi strain room so I have a couple of low growers) day 23 since flip, and after foliar spraying with Athena stack and Power SI 5 mins before lights off I noticed this morning that some of the plants pistils have retracted a little and turned orange. I understand it could be a multitude of things but I’m abit stuck. I thought it may be burning from the foliar spray or heat/light stress but the plants that are closest to the light are completely fine, still white and reaching. Also would love to know if they’re looking good for the stage they’re in! Im a rookie and this is my first time running this system. Only second run ever. I’ll attach some photos so you guys can have a look and hopefully I can get to the bottom of this before there’s any (if any) damage done. Any help would be super appreciated as I’m driving myself a bit mad trying to figure this one out

If it aint ur foliar spray that caused it then its that strains genetics or physical damage, or pollination. Posting twice isn't gonna call forth the sorcerer supreme that can magically tell you what caused ur pistils to brown out earlier than normal.

yeah sorry man I’m new here, wasn’t sure where to post it. As I’m not sure if it is a problem?

had a feeling it may have been the foliar.
If it is damaged is it going to affect it badly?

When this happened to me, right in week 3, it's because they had all hermied and started making seeds. All of them. I threw it all out.
For real? Does this resemble the same sort of thing? I’ve got another tent you think I should isolate them in there under the same light schedule? And just monitor if they hermie?

It's hard to tell, but you'll know because the flowers will start to look like they are shriveling instead of getting fatter. With tweezers, you can pull the flowers apart and see the seed starting to develop. That's how you'll know for sure.

Those buds are normal for 3 weeks as far as size. Your EC sounds a bit off, I would check your probe against a reference solution. You just don't need crazy high EC to build big buds. I go with 1.2 EC all the way through and I'm super happy with the results. As far as premature brown pistils, that can be caused by a bunch of different things. It might just be the strain, for example I have one plant out of 4 strains doing it now....same thing, brown pistils at 3 weeks of 12/12. That plant is a White Widow and WW is known for doing it, so I'm not worried. Check your plants for intersex traits-that's another possible cause. You'll see those brown pistils start to recede soon if that's the case. Other causes are foliar sprays or heat/light stress. Lastly, it could be due to your extremely high EC. Check all of those things out and good luck!

so I used to think the same. But I’ve seen people pushing theirEC to 18.0 with the same nutrient line I’m using (Athena) with only slightly bleached tips towards day 65
You've never seen anyone using 18.0 EC. How are you guys measuring? Because it's a certainty that you are either measuring incorrectly or the equipment is incorrect.

18.0 EC = 9000 ppm using the 500 scale
18.0 EC = 12,600 ppm using the 700 scale

Do you think it’s the case by these photos? Or still too early to tell. I’m convinced it’s the foliar as it happened after I sprayed last night…
Ya spraying the pistils can definitely do that. Stop spraying that shit now tho. You're throwing a lot at them. A little unsolicited advice, and feel free to tell me to fuck off for real, try to keep it as simple as possible so you limit the chances at self inflicted wounds

You must of read the CF instead of ec 18 is 1.8 ec which is a bit too high at that stage, especially with multi hybrids put together. Some strains don't like high levels of nutrient. The ec chart only goes up to 3.2 .
