Pistils dropping and cloudy trichromes at 2 1/2 weeks.

Alright, I'm gonna start by saying I know they are not ready. But when I went in to check today, on the lower leaves (no buds there yet) I found two pistils laying on them. I checked the buds with a microscope, and they are fairly cloudy looking (at least the few I checked) My main question is why did some pistils drop? They were on my healthiest plant. They were red almost brown. I'll try and find a way to get some pictures.

The leaves always mature before the buds, that's why we check the trichs of the bud.

I have a lsd fem growing.. She is about 45 days into flowering... She has a few orange hairs visible not sure what to call them cause i am new to growing.. My question is... Where do i look on the plant the bud itself or the leaf for trichrome coloring... My wife thinks she knows it all but id figure id ask a professional opinion...
