pistils are dying of at week 1 of flowering

Hi. One of my plants' lower pistils are sort of dying of (turning brown) at week 1 of flowering. The majority of them are white but it doesn't like they're developing at all. I did have a calmag def a week back as it started pre flowering. I'm not sure if that could have stunted it a bit. First 3 photos are the plant with the problem. I also added some photos of my other plant which is about 2 days younger and pistil development looks way better.

Plant with the problem:

It's completely normal for the pistils shown in the first picture to turn brown like that, since no flower would usually develop there anyway.
It's just showing its gender on those locations - it's not really a "bud site".

just give it time and I'm sure it'll stack up :)

ohhh okay. So buds don't actually develop at the nodes. That's good to hear. Yeah the only brown pistils are in the same spots that I shown. Right on the node itself. It only that one and the node below it. Other than that, they're all white

Not if it's just a calyx throwing one or two pistils like that :)
If it had leaves growing out of it, it would most likely be a bud that's forming.

I just snapped a few pics here to show you that my plants are doing the exact same thing:
