Pipe Screens

I used to buy them at the corner store, years ago... I think they were like 50 cents for a pack of 5...

Then I found them at my favorite Chinese discount site (banggood.com) in bulk. I just went to order more (I've ordered these twice before) and they no longer sell them...

So, I checked my second favorite Chinese discount site (aliexpress.com) and found this... [Link]

100 packs (500 screens) for about $6.... Free Shipping...

Just thought I'd share, you could probably use the other $44 for something else :)

BTW, I'm not making anything if you buy those, I just wanted to share a great deal, especially if you go through screens like I do :)

Never heard of these, and can't make out from the pictures how they would be used Are they like the jacks you use in a game?
They have a peg that goes into the hole, and the three arms stop the majority of the weed from being sucked through. They work better once they get sticky, they dont fall out as easily once you get a little buildup of resin to hold them in place. I only use them in my bong at home and smoke joints when I'm out and about, so they really only fall out in the ashtray. I find they have better airflow, so when you use the choke there isnt as much of an airflow difference and I cough much less. I find screens get jammed up pretty quick and get hard to suck through in like 10 bowlfulls. Just personal taste I guess.

I used to go to TSC hardware store and buy a tractor fuel filter. It was a round tube piece of stainless mesh. Trimmed it into screens and bingo. Those really lasted well. Heat it red and flex it after it cooled. Nice n clean basically. Then they stopped selling them.

I prefer them as well! Easy to clean, been using them since high school in all my glass pieces.
