well like i was saying i may and probably will keep some of these photo
i love the purple haze well positronics in general but the haze became a family member

it is just so slow growing and 12 week flower is a kick in the butt
but all these have shown preflower in a month or less that is something the haze would never do so i think the addition of ruderalis may have sped it up a bit and it may be worth running it as a photo

just my thought about it
and they claim its 22% and i would agree with it its extremely psychedelic so even if it takes a loss of potency it would still be killer

and i picked the KC because it was a brazilian sativa dom so i figured it would mash up well

seeing how the purple haze had crinkly leaves not very scientific but they all smell and are acting like the haze for the most part and the ones outside are just way off

something i picked up frimbreeding dogs that has helped with cannabis is that a lot of times traits like that are linked up with other traits that coincide with its parent like those crinkles being on all the haze doms or when you breed 2 different prints often the pup will take on many of the traits from the inherited color parents genes (just my experiences) same goes with the plants in my lines. if that makes sense

how far along in flower are they? the rudi sped my girls up by almost a month!
i was considering running some akr and TD and doing a little fem crossing, sort thru the progeny for a winner and back cross her into my pinkie pie after shes stable to get some of the awesome qualities of all3 in a line

while i was growing up my parents bred and showed great danes so i totally understand where you are coming from
haze around 8 weeks i chopped it early my mom was gong through chemo and i felt the need to bring a gift with me when i came in from out of state i BHO'd almost 3/4 a lb of what ever i had going auto's , the haze , and stuff i had stashed back
so she could have some edibles or something to vape she doesnt smoke but i convinced her to try edibles
she was just feeling that bad it wasnt hard honestly to get her to try it

im not going to flower until the auto's are done i have alot more room then it looks like im just being cheap and running one light and the led's i have another room and also the room in the pic has the same amount of room you see around the corner so im vegging for 3 months so i can get good clones and watch them in veg a bit

AKR is killer hands down its one of the best IMO
potency wise yields could be better

I'm still just in the initial phase, generating variety and comparing 3 different F1s I created to see which one(s) I'm going to "breed" with. I've been saving up 1ltr bottles and testing coco/perlite ratios and going to try some runs with a lot more than the 6-9 I normally flower simultaneously to make some more progress. The upside of actual trying to breed something taking time is that there's plenty of time to learn. It's not that I'm a wealth of knowledge myself, but tapping into the right wealth of info is what I do.

Wait what, did I see a post come by with pink pistils? :clap:

I've had my eyes on ACE Seed's Panama for that trait...

Positronics... man, there's a blast from the past. I have a nearly 30 year old grow guide from Positronics, they played a huge role in starting it all here. Nice to see someone use their genetics.

oh okay makes sense now, really am excited to see that unfold,
yes!! one of pinkies traits i am deadset on locking down is the deep bliood red/pink pistils. if you look closely at the last 10 or so pics those plants have 2 or 3 pinks scattered in there problem iswhen pollinated they go orange again :/ and it only shows up outdoor

ive never tried akr but ive seen plebty of journals and positive reviews and i afore the melliw happy smoke of the TD at least the fruitier phenotype the other was a bit chlorophylly for myy taste but i guess thats what selections all about right?
i just won an auction on mr greengenes cherry bomb a maui wowie inbred since the 70's and i may have a cross with this strain in the future

also pink\purple pistils but to my knowlege pinkie is the only auto that does this.

That would happen eventually without pollination too so it's more a trait for growers than users anyway. Still, it's so pretty. It only showing up outdoors makes it an interesting strain to test different light spectrums, curious what exactly causes it to show up outdoors only, or perhaps better said: why not in your indoor setup.

i had never even considered running different spectrums indoors to find out what triggers this..... wow thank you man thats really got me going (i just opened like 6 tabs lol) ur fu**in legit bro!

6-8 weeks depends on pheno's im about to CS one of the prettier AKR's i may end up using that pollen and not the KC

i literally had a dream about it just now but regardless they are roughly 2-4 weeks old staggered for a seed crop and need around 12 weeks to be right

could try a reptile bulb
or a bare bulb MH

i think ill look around for a few reptile bulbs with different spectrums like uv and all that junk, i was planning on running my f5 and f6 indoors in a soilless medium with synthetic nutes and then back to outdoor organic for the f7 and on
