@HighLowGrow Preciate yah bruthah!! 2 of my main goals are color and rezz so I think im on the right track
on the 27th I noticed a particularly pretty individual that made me realize im about to miss my window and need to get on my spraying ASAP.
notice shes 1 of 2 in this pot, thats cuzz both girls vegged well and I wanted to see how they developed in the flower department before arbitrarily selecting one for culling on a whim, this way I got to see both of them and who knows maybe the pretty girl would have gotten canned :/
Vigor is always a marker for selection but not necessarily height, many of my tallest plants are often lacking in other departments like flower quality (trichomes, smell, density, potency etc) so I am always extra careful when selecting these big girls, its easy to just see the size and be like "wow weve got a keeper!" hahaha but so much more goes into a great plant than height, this girl seems to have the whole package so far tho and I will be watching her closely as she develops
Plant #3
-Tall
-Very Light
-Thick pistils + Early Resin production
This plant flowers very hard, what I mean by that is that as the flowers form they take shape quickly, Ive seen this in a few phenos and 1/2 are killer donkey dick cola producers and the other half are SO/SO and carry shitty aromas like the vomit pheno I nixed a few generations ago, hopefully its the former lol
my male had a flower open up and start dropping pollen today so i collected the poolen and the flower. if your wondering why he looks jacked up like that its because I let it phototrope over to the bulb of the cfl and it got toasted lol Pictures dont really do him justice, hes a very nice male.

Now.........
DAY 47
This..... is who Ive been looking for....
Tall #1 aka Plant #3
-Pink Buds
-Extra frosty
-Vigorous Veg
I got so I excited when she started exhibiting all the markers I aim to hit I immedietely pollinated her with the F7 Pink males pollen and started spraying 2 branches with Tmist!!! This is the Winner ive been searching for!!!
Im tellin yah pics dont do her justice! this is a very special lady
This is exactly the type of plant I am trying to reproduce in the F8 generation
This is the girl im callin darkstar (insert butthole joke here lol)
Girls frosty as hell, beautifully colored, nice aroma, crusty (vs slick) with trichs, and very healthy. AMAZING UPDATE!!!! she is also starting to put off slightly purple pistils on the lower popcorn vuds so she may develop some pistil color before this grows done!!!
doing pretty well for having another plant in her same pot with her, might be snuffing him out today tho to allow this girl to grow properly and develop lots of pollen+ seeds.
This is her from the front/top (ideal Pinkie Pie [P3-06-A1-1-CI-{Ci/select}-G1P1])
beautiful citrusy notes jump right out and punch you in the face and if you sit there to really take it in you start picking up on the more subtle and nuanced aromas like cheese and fruit.
Among my really frosty gals I get 2 distinct types of trich producers 1 that I call Greasy because it tends to have more non glandular (hair like) trichomes which is a very tropical/sativa trait and the ones I consider Crusty becaus the high number of glandular trichs makes it look crunchy with ice crystals this trait is very indica dominant.
This gal has a good mix so far but as she gets older im sure shell start to lean one way or the other.
Notice how the branches look hairr... those arent the typical hairs plants grow for uv protection those are trichomes!!! this girl just oozes trichs from every orofice!!I I love her!
pollinated pistils are beginning to recede and turn orange, signaling the development of a strong little F8 Pinkie Pie inside its respective calyx
You can get a better look at the trichome laden branches in this pic ^^^^^^^^ Remember what I said about oozing trichomes?^^^^^^^^^^^^
Here are some shots of the bigger leaves that are coated all the way out to the tips and even have trichs under the leaf
Even under the leaves!^^^^^
See, trichs all the way out to the tips ^^^^^^
I wonder, if i focus on these leaf fuse mutations and breed for the trait if I could eventually create a line of "ducksfoot" from scratch? View attachment 3852536
