I know this is an old post... but...
I have a plant with pink hair right now.
Its Afghan Skunk from Mendocino Farms which I purchased from Pacific Seed Bank.

However... its only one of my plants that did this.

Also note:
I DO NOT recommend buying seeds from Mendocino. At least not this strain. Of the 2 seeds I planted, one went into flowering at just a few weeks old. This is not supposed to be an autoflower.
That plant had white hairs.
The plant with the pink hair was grown in the same environment and has a totally different outcome.

I blame genetics...

I'm pretty sure that anything from Pacific has a fake or masked breeder name. I'm not sure who they're sourcing from, but if you go through their roster of breeders, they don't seem to exist anywhere else.

Got someone you can recommend?
There's a million seed banks and breeders out there that have 'name brand' seeds. I've also bought from Pacific because they 'suggest' they have strains that are generally not easily available and I thought it would be fun to see if those are somewhat legit.

(spoiler, I haven't used any of the seeds I've gotten from Pacific).

Mmmm that elusive pink!

Around 2010 or so I spent a week trimming for this guy in Humboldt. He had spent the past 30 years or so developing this strain he called Stinky Pinky. Bright pink hairs like above^, but with THE MOST pungent Tangerine smell that would stay on your lips for hours. That was some of the best weed I have ever smoked in my life. Nothing I have found since has even come close. The mythical unicorn I'm chasing if you will.

Also, there is a guy near Seattle that has a strain called Pinkleberry with these pink pistils. Haven't tried it myself and I'm sure theres no Tangerine in it, but I love the color! PNW Roots is the breeder.

I have a clone of this pink girl. Maybe if the flowering one turns out to be something special, I could cut clones off of the clone for sharing. ;)
The clone was cut right as the plant started into its flowering phase. The clone actually started to flower in the deep water cloner. It is now back in the veg stage.
