My first thought was to break out the torch. Maybe some duct tape would pull it off. Don't worry about Turkster; he's just not getting any nanookie.
ya everyones entitled to a bad day or two, no worries here my friend. ty for your kind post. thanks for stopping by!

ya unless someone says that the very subtle purple hue on the back side of my insert is nothing to worry about then ill just clean it up the best i can with the torch... the remaining residue is right on top of where the bulb is going to be sitting. so if i lose a couple lumens or so im not worried bout that. another thing i could do is just say fock the insert(which i probably wont do) and just use the reflector without the insert. its white, but i had a 600w MH conversion bulb burning in there (without the insert) and it actually tainted the paint with subtle yellowing.. probably not heat resistant paint, thus thats what the insert is for. thats why im trying to fix the insert. i think it will be oky docky though.:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

i think the suggestion is to go buy a heat gun and use it.

your = possessive adjective - belonging to as in: your reflector is screwed.
you're = contraction of you are as in: you're going to have to buy a heat gun.

some more tricky ones which i screw up all the time: there, their and they're

and i'm still trying to figure out affect and effect. wtf?

hey email! thanks for dropping in :) ya im more mathematically inclined than grammatically myself. " your = possessive adjective - belonging to as in: your reflector is screwed." lmao, ya i think she'll make it from the wonders that i did to her with the torch:mrgreen:. i havent run her yet though because she is in the dark cycle right now. it should be ok though. hey email why did you change out your avatar btw? the other one really stood out to me. that must be a close up of your buds huh? thanks :peace::peace::peace::mrgreen::peace::peace:

your a dip shit...
Well you're the first person I "reported" on this forum. I'd suggest next time you proof read your ignorant replies.

hey thegardenman i appreciate your reply. i know im coming off as an ass but im just trying to have some fun. anyways i dont have a heat gun but i do have a 1500w blow drier and i will use that and let you know how it goes.

SMOKES UP MANNNN!!!!! WHOOOOO:blsmoke::mrgreen::peace::hump::spew::evil:
I didn't even notice the film on it until some of it started peeling off! (I didn't start the light however).

The blow drier should do just fine. Use a razor blade also (it gets tint off car windows, so I am positive it will work).

Thanks for you kind reply mr.turk. no rep points for you though my friend :) My intent wasn't to get anyone in trouble, sorry turkster. i knew it was a stupid move, on my part, and i was kinda embarrassed to be asking the question in the first place. i figured i would make fun of myself first so i wouldnt have to listen to any shit from anyone else. hence the repeated "Hello, did i say my name is We Tarded." like you said "live and learn" yep i wont do that again. it was the first reflector i got with shrink wrap, and i will def be checking for it next time....... ohhhhh btw this is what i think about you mr.turkey :spew::evil: :spew::evil: :spew::twisted:!!!!
dont dish it out if you cant take it... right? lol, :peace::peace::peace::mrgreen::peace::peace::peace:

ohh and thanks titleistbudz for caring.

Hey pandabear! yes, that lighter was a distraction :mrgreen::mrgreen:. But seriously, whos going to bring that lighter outside their homes?:confused: its kool that you can smoke your shit and pop a beer open at the same time though!!!:)
also true about your meter not needing to be calibrated.... i dont know why someone wouldnt have it somewhat dialed in though, but true the same :)

i totaly agree heat it up it should come off use a credit card or putty knife to scrape it of also if needed
hey bakes888, ya the credit card or a hard plastic putty knife would work. i already hung her up and everything seems to be koolie:) hopefully their wont be anymore fock ups!!!!

Thanks everyone for taking your time to help a brother out...:peace::peace::peace::mrgreen::peace::peace::peace:

The tornadoes have past us for the most part...
Other senseless dribble here...
Some idle banter here...
Okay I have contributed my nothing to this post...
So here is something...if the area affected is not that large then I don't think you will lose much light reflectivity so it might not be anything to worry about...and after another hour or two with the light on that stuff will be part of the metal anyway (no not literally picky stoners) and not a fire hazard.
It is funny though so thanks for the laugh!
And tard, have you posted in other parts of the forum or have you gotten all your posts from this one thread? That would be hilarious. Your...err...you're very funny!

O man thats tough buddy, I understand the hurry that happens when a new toy comes in, so I do understand. I would suggest trying a cotton swab with alcohol, pull back the pink and then stab with qtip, the alcohol should dissolve the adhesive.
