Pineapp express auto flower sieedling

Can I put 10 day old seedlings under a 600w dual spec light if I keep it high 1.5 meters approx ,,their getting real stringy as if their not getting enough light ' got them under low wattage CFL 's at the moment and I don't have another light ?????????????? Thanks

1.5 metres would be waaaaay too high, and they'd continue to stretch. Get them under the 600 if you have it, and try it at about 50cm, see how you get on. They'll tell you within a day if it's too close, and if not move it a teeny bit closer!

Use the back of the hand test, or if you wanna get fancy an infrared thermometer to take leaf temperatures. I don't think the plants can receive too much light, heat if the killer.
