thanks man. its my first grow. how do you control the stretching i tryed to keep them close to the lights but they just keep getting longer and longer

What light cycle you got them on? I would go with 24/24 or 18/6.. if there are any light leaks during the dark periods then that can cause the stretching if you have the lights close enough..

You can re-pot them and have the canopy about 1 inch from the dirt..also a fan gently blowing on them will toughen up the stem..
