Yeah,
If you buy a reel of 2t-3t you either get all 2t or all 3t.
To (maybe) get 4t you have to buy 3t4t, and when you get them you'll know if they are 3t .. or 4t ..
I know that 2 years ago, Osram were still not producing enough of 4T relative to 3T for them to be reasonably frequent. It looks like things haven't changed very much ...
I bought my 3Ts 3 years ago, and they are still the most readily available top bin deep red ...
I believe we might see something similar with cree cobs now : less rolling out of new bins, but prices coming down gradually ... just me speculating tho.

That driver puts about 13 watts of heat.
You can use loom tubing or braided tubing for you wires to run from distance for looks and more safety

I ordered it online. I can't see buying a brake or a shear. Angle in the corners. .063 aluminium. I'm sure this is the last I will build. To be honest the 8 vero 29's grows more smoke than me and my buddy can get rid of. 16 cxb's should give me better coverage. You can see from the avatar they work.

Here is a "passive aggressive" design, I drew it up to use the 90CRI 3000K CXB3590 available at Cutter. LED wattage is variable with an internal pot from 70 to 125W. The Giga also comes in 150mm length but the thermal graph didn't look that much better.
I've got enough LED stuff anyway but what makes sense in this format is: HBG-60-1400 (fixed @ 1400mA) + ModuLED Mega 100mm + CXB3070 for 50W at the COB.

That's what I'm seeing. I've contacted a couple of sellers on ebay to see if the can custom make a piece for less but I'm not hopeful. need to sketch it out on the same size piece of paper that I'm thinking of to make sure I'm ordering the right piece.
