The cat started using the box as an ambush point for the dog so I left it there, she is funny to watch swiping at the dog when she passes and then darting back inside before the dog knows what hit her:)View attachment 3018937Great pics guys, some lovely dogs and cats there.
This thread more than any other never fails to bring a smile.

Broke up a fight between my dogs and
got mouthed by the great dane.
She wasnt trying to hurt me and it was my fault.

Those marks are the top teeth.
the bottom ones bruised right over
my jugular.

The lesson here is its actually dangerous
to use your body to break up dog fights.
I have to keep them seperate as much as possible now for treats n play time.

Dog fight?! If they aren't spayed, I'll grab them by the "workplace acceptable eufamism for testicles" and twist.

I'm not a fan of dogs that like to fight. I think it's fucked to let them think it's ok to be violent.

I only ever treat when my baby when she is dosile, and full of loves. Sometimes, when I grab a midnight-snack burrito, she'll get a little piece, too. I'm a total sucker.

Yeah man it sux.
I shouldn't have taken two females
but I'm a sucker too and I rescued the pit
so it didn't get put down
They are spayed.
It only happens around a tennis ball or valuable treats.
I just have to be diligent now and make sure to keep that shit away.

Man you don't do that when dogs are fighting !
It's like they get this evil over them and all they think is attack , if you get between them they still have attack in their heads.
Best thing i have found is sqirt them with a hose , they soon stop fighting .
I also got told by a dog breeder the best thing to do is shove ya finger up the dogs bum !
It works everytime apparently . (i havn't tried that one)

I hope you are ok though Charface , getting bitten in the neck sounds bad bro .

Im totally fine.
Just bummed.
When a great dane grabs ya by the throat
and throws ya to the ground there is no
fingering the bum.
It was instant.

I really really like that. My retreiver is a rescue. She wouldn't even leave her bed until my hubby and me spent close to 72 hours with her, the poor thing. She was beaten bad when she was a pup. She still has trust issues with new people, but she's doing sooooo much better. We're lucky we saved her, young. Now, she's terrorizing the back yard like a champ, chasing the turkeys, and deer, coming inside proud.

Char. You're awesome for saving her. She'll toally mellow out once she figures out her place in the pack.

Tennis balls and socks are gold round these parts. Sacred to the pups.
