Live in north Texas, using organic compost, manure and native soil. My ferts are and have been Biocanna..Bio Vega as well as Bio Bloom. This year i am growing sunflowers, assorted peppers, two tom plants, 3 pineapple sage, 2 basil, 3 MJ(purple, WW and of kush from denver), eggplant, jicama and grapes. Hopefully 1 out of 3 is a fem. I will keep this post updated as she grows.

nice! if it ever stops raining and gets above 50* here, maybe I can get my garden going....

I had some nice Chives already in my garden when I bought the place. I love those, they grow so easy, and are awesome on potatoes and what not.

That looks great. I wish I had some cooler weather. Did you order the Jicama? If so where, have you grown it before, how hard is it to grow, are we there yet?
Anyway I've been trying find some and have never heard of anyone growing it.

it's my first year growing it snew, i bought it at a nursery and was told to let it vine upward. I enjoy jicama very much but have never seen it so when i did, i jumped at the chance. Will let you know how it goes

Anyone ever managed to grow a pineapple? I have got one to root and start producing new leaves or spines or whatever they are specifically named. I twisted the top off a supermarket pineapple and pulled the leaves off to expose the roots and put it in a pot of compost in the back of the mommy room.

Anyone else seen this through before?
