I know some of you have followed my threads about my grow, but for those that haven't, here is my main thread: https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/8160-newb-grow-questions.html

AND I updated with pics of a trimmed male to show the LST'ing, here:
https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/9224-lstd-flowering-pics.html

This is my first ever grow, I started using about 4 CFL's and have added over the last few months, and am currently using 9 in a soil mixture with 2 cramped females.

Not all of my lights are 2700k for flowering, I have a couple 6500k in there just for the hell of it...

Here are a lot of pictures starting from the oldest to the most recent, showing the progression.

Couple weeks in....

Few weeks later

23 days into Flowering with ONLY CFL's:

Sorry for the insane amount of pics, but thats it!!

Thoughts?

I think the soil I used had ferts in it because when I started using a low dose they burned right away, so I held off on ferts for the entire vegging, then am using Schultz Bloom Builder 5-30-5 every 2nd water at 1/2 strength for flowering.

Looking real good for what you've been using. Keep up the good work!

I would like to get to your point with 1 or 2 females. Currently have 5 plants in early flowering and can't tell sex yet.

Everything is looking great. But why put two plants in that pot when one would give you exactly the same yield? It's about watts per m2 not how many plants you've got.

That's encouraging, i'm only gonna have space for a CFL grow next year I think (moving) so it's nice to see that you can still get a happy plant out of it!

yea for my 6plant DWC setup....starting again asap when I harvest...I'm not sure how I'm going about it.

I'm gonna want to take clones 100% but I dont know how, and I dont know how im gonna get the buds off while still cloning

Sorry, you've lost me now. You don't take clones during flower. you take them during veg'.

You do know which part of the plant to take as clones? So long as you know this then cloning is very easy. First off you need a propagator.

cloning after harvesting is impossible being that there is no more plant material to be cloned.... what you can do is get a clone while in veg, then harvest as normal. Now you can either use your harvested plants' rootstock and graft your clone or you can begin the clone by itself .... although grafting to the already ample root system will save you much effort in amount of time needed to mature.

cloning during flowering is possible although reduces success rate and due to introduction back in to veg may stunt the plant and/or cause abnormal growth amongst the plant material.

I'm never going to do this, just interested. When you graft a clone to your harvested plant, do you graft more than one?

They look amazing for having 2 plants in 1 pot!! I am always glad to hear good things come out of CFL grows. Good luck with harvesting!
