PICS INSIDE!! Somthing is wrong with my plant leaves are turing yellow !

new leaves growing out are yellow! plant is 12days old about 3 maybe 4inchs tall in a 20litter pot with soil i bought at lowes. im using one 65watt cfl flood light. im looking jus to grow one plant and hopfully changed this one green again. I dont know if i should raise the light because it is already a stretched but then again maybe im buring it!? im thinking im using the wrong bulb, its not the cfl that has that spining bulb look its jus a round bulb.

wrong kind of bulb. go get some 26w 6500k lights. like 7$ a 2 pack at walmart.

have you given it any kind of nutrients?

Green veins but pale yellowing of the leaf tissue in the center means an IRON OR MANGANESE DEFICIENCY. Either the soil from lowes is crap OR the ph of the soil is too high.. suggestions:

next watering --> add a few drops of lemon juice to lower the ph (flood the entire soil with the next watering but do NOT water so frequently - best is every fourth day)

after flushing, supplement the soil with Fe and Mn as well as plenty of nitrogen.

get a new light or get more light (a bunch of cfls)

drop the lights down to about 2-4 inches off the top of the leaves - do NOT raise the lights, this will cause stretching of the seedlings

Looks like too much water and did you fert. Let the soil dry before watering again. If you fed them allready you need to flush after the soil drys with 3 time the water as the size of the pot! No ferts till 3 weeks old and only 1/4 strenght till 4-5 weeks then 1/2 strenght till late flower! Last. How close is the light. Make sure you can put the back of your hand at the height you want your plants without burning. If your hand doesnt burn the plants wont either. Good Luck!

Glass is right I didnt catch the flood light part. Too much heat!

alrite ima go try the lemon juice thing and buy a new bulb
