temps never get above 90 usually 76-83 with light on light off gets about 70. Soil ph is fine have 3 ways of testing 1 cheap soil meter on expensive one and a chemical soil test kit. This is day 6 since I put them in soil could it be some sort of shock??? I had to drive 3 hours in the car with them as cuttings. Soil nitrogen is high could it be too much nitrogen? Could it be Light burn? what do you guys think? these are under a 1000 watt metal halide that I have now moved to the ceiling before I kept it about 4 feet from the babies. by the way that is just water on the leaves.

One of my buddies said that they are fine but I just want to make sure since they are not perfect looking.

Do you have that plant in a big chunk of rockwool, that is stuffed in your soil?

Also, why do you have so little soil in that big pot. At least from that over head view, it looks like your plant is half way down the pot. If so that rockwool might be sitting directly on the bottom of your pot. The whole rockwool in soil makes me wonder. I have used little Clone plugs made from rockwool, but never as large as I image that chunk to be.

Rockwool into soil is fine, but what kind of soil is it and does it contain nutes? Are you feeding the cutting any nutes and if so what kind?

So rockwool in soil, and also sitting right on the bottom of the pot is ok? Seems like the rockwool would hold moisture longer then normal, under that condition. I still think he has a problem with root rot.

Ok well i will check tomorrow night I am out of town. I will check for root rot but am feeding them no nutes just water and soil with no added nutes to it. I also just flushed them before I gave them a little revive. The rockwool does not touch the bottom its only a small piece. I will check for root rot.

Pot it like you would pot any other plant. Forget it's in rockwool. Think of the rockwool as it's roots. Fill your pot to the top with soil, dig a hole in the center and place the rockwool in the hole. Then push the soil over the rockwool. I would suggest plain water for a week or two, then a mild strength nutrient every other watering working your way to full strength.

The roots will grow out of the rockwool and into the soil just fine. Soon you won't even be able to find the rockwool. The pot your using looks big enough to support a plant 1-2 feet tall as long as you use the entire thing. Never plant in the middle or at the bottom of a pot.

Root rot would cause the plants to droop severely as if you were over watering them. I don't see much drooping from the pictures.

Also are the pictures of one plant or more? Were they all taken at the same time? It looks like the first picture has more soil in the pot then the last picture and the plant in the last picture looks smaller and worse off then the other pictures.

yea they were pictures from 4 out of my six clones. I ran out of soil, should I pull them out and go buy more soil to put in the pots?? I know they do not have root rot there is no way I havent been giving them that much water except for the flush.

could I fill the pots to the top with soil without transplanting them? Would this force them to star growing root out of the main stalk?? I have no idea does anyone know if this works??? or would it be best just to transplant them in a little bit
